2 of my newer sites, sites 6 and 7 in my portfolio, were denied for display ads by Google through Ezoic. To be very clear, Google denied the sites and not Ezoic. But in the process of adding a site to Ezoic, the domain must be approved by Google Ad Exchange for monetization. The requirements of a site is much like Adsense. If you apply with a site that has 1000 of the highest quality articles on the internet, but the domain is only 2 months old, you'll likely get denied for either "low value content" or "thin content". It seems it's a catch-all reason for new sites. My 2 sites were clearly too new, so I learned not to try applying with brand new domains. I always thought that Ezoic and other ad providers were able to skip this domain approval process and approve you outside of Google's own process, but things may have changed.
