Cylindrical Lens Puzzle:
The word "GREEN" is flipped by this lens but the word "TOMATO" seems unaffected. Is the physics significantly different for red wavelengths as compare to green?
Or is there another explanation/trick?
đź“ŤThe trick here is that the letters in the word TOMATO are symmetric with respect to a vertical line through their center, so even though they are flipped by the cylindrical lens just like the letters in GREEN, the symmetry of the letters
hides this fact!
