Throwback to 1965 when automobile inspections were just starting in the United States. Historic film shows an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper inspecting the Buick convertible of reporter Clayton Vaughn. Checks were done to headlights, turn signals, brake lights, and windshield wipers to make sure vehicles were road worthy. Most states, including Oklahoma, no longer require vehicle inspections.
