William Scott Wilson, translator of the Book of Five Rings and the Hagakure, is traveling by foot along the famous Nakasendo Trail on the Kiso Road. This road once connected Edo (present-day Tokyo) with Kyoto during the Edo period and was used by Samurai and their Lords or Daimyo. In this episode he talks about Miyamoto Musashi and other samurai that passed through this important highway.
