This video shows you how I replace a condenser fan motor. Not one of the hardest repairs to make, but there are some good pointers I make. A condenser fan is responsible for removing the heat from the outdoor unit. We are removing heat from inside the house by sending it to the outdoor condenser. This fan motor removes that heat from the condenser. I usually will just change the fan motor right at the unit. but in this video, I needed to come down off the roof, because the air conditioner was sitting on some angle iron which was on corrugated roofing. Lol! A bit precarious. After I replace the condenser fan motor, I turned the system back on and the building started ccoling again.
