Produced by the Central Electricity Generating Board in 1978, "A Natural Question" shows how even industrialised areas can be used as nature reserves.
Narrated and presented by naturalist Phil Drabble, this lovely film deals with the liaison between the CEGB and nature conservationists, showing some of the special nature trails they have set up for children in industrialised areas and describing other ways in which they are contributing towards nature conservation.
Some of the places featured include power stations, gravel pits, hydro electric stations, salt marshes, etc., in places as diverse as Canterbury, Wales and Teeside.
