In this episode of the CyberGizmo we explore X2go server/client for Linux, Windows (client) and MacOS (client)
X2go is a Desktop Screen sharing utility which allows you to tunnel the session through ssh connection to encrypt the communications between the client and the server.
There is also a client for WIndows, but no server version, there is a MacOS version, but since Apple has deprecated X11, you will need to add XQuartz to get it to work.
There are of course versions of both server and client for Ubuntu, Fedora, SUSE, Debian, RedHat, Arch and even Slackware
I don't use XFCE much but used it for this video to get X2go working on Fedora, I usually prefer Mate but since I had that running on the Ubuntu client wanted to show one more example using Fedora, so excuse my newb-ness on XFCE.
