Destiny 2 Season of the Drifter focused on Gambit, and the drifter. There wasn't a raid or a flashy cutscene, but Xur would offer bounties that sent us to visit the emissary and learn more about the Dredgen, and his relationships. This was the first time he was directly linked to the Pyramids and it was teased that he, Eris, and the Queen would one day meet again.
