Nickel City Scene was a television show spotlighting music from Western New York and Southern Ontario, and national bands visiting our region. The show aired for two years on CBS affiliate WIVB, and for one year on Fox affiliate WUTV. This episode, which aired September 28, 1996, spotlighted Co-Ecology of the Arts at the Buffalo Botanical Gardens. Organized by Michael "Cousin" Kelly, Co-Ecology of the Arts brought together musicians, poets, and artists to raise awareness of the environment. Featuring interviews and performance from Cotton Mouth (Bob Hanley), Pamela Ryder, Celia White, Tom Stahl, Gretchen Schulz, Tom Fenton, Excessive Behavior (Martin Safford), and Tim Baldwin. Also on this episode, Kit Missile from 103.3 WEDG introduces new EDGE DJ Brad Maybe. Plus the John & Mary music video "Red Wooden Beads."
