Amidst this challenge, the fusion of science and technology emerges as a beacon of hope, offering promising solutions to address and mitigate water shortages. A water and renewable energy engineering expert at the University of Surrey, UK, boasts a remarkable list of international awards, including the Queen's Award for Water in 2011 and the European Academy of Sciences Award in 2008 and the Global Council for Renewable Energy's Leading Pioneer in Renewable Energy in 2018.
He is the founder and director of the Water and Renewable Energy Research Center at the University of Surrey, and he also established Modern Water and Power Company, a publicly traded firm on the London Financial Exchange specialising in water desalination and renewable energy. Recognised as one of the top Arab scientists in Europe and the US, he has earned accolades from various organisations and holds numerous academic achievements.With over 200 research papers, leadership in conferences, and supervision of numerous theses.
