Coming soon.
After creating many blades from cultures all over the world I thought it was about time to create a blade which was used and made in Europe.
The Scandinavian Long Seax came to my mind because I really like the simplistic, yet elegant design of it.
This project is all about being in touch with nature and trying to use local materials. Many makers don’t realize that lots of materials which can be locally found, can look great. Getting your hands on fancy stuff from all over the world has become extremely easy and normal. We tend to forget about how much beauty local products can bring us.
This way of thinking is something I am trying to implement more and more into my work, with the endgoal of creating knives made from local products only.
This video about creating a Scandinavian Long Seax is dropping soon! Stay tuned.
