Here is the fight between a Jedi and the Last Giant. This is footage from my Dark Souls 2 Jedi Edition run. I have included the rules in case you want to try the challenge yourself.
The rules for this challenge is as follow:
-To resemble a lightsaber, my weapon must be lightening based, It can be either infused with lighting or use a Gold Pine Resin on it. If there is no lightning on the weapon, I cannot use it to damage enemies.
-I am going to be using twinblades in this run (I really want to use them). I am going to somewhat carry over the rule from the Hawkeye challenge in that the twinblade and the sword must look relatively the same. This does cause me to only be able to use two twinblades (sorry dragonrider twinblade, your look is too awesome for any sword to match).
-I can use a crossbow. However, to keep me from falling back into old habits, I am only allowed to use wooden bolts. I also cannot use the crossbow to kill any enemies. It's main use is to either shoot buttons out of reach or to try and pull enemies.
-I can use force miracles (force and emit force) as well as other ones that are similar to Jedi force powers. I am not allowed to use lightning miracles, however, as I am not a sith.
-I am basing this character on a specific Star Wars series. In that series, you are quite limited on healing items. Thus, to add to the challenge, I am only allowed to use Estus Flasks for healing. I cannot use any type of life gems or other healing items. The only exception is if the only spell regen items that I have at the time are those that also heal you. In those cases, I must use them when I have zero spell points left and not when I desperately need to heal.
-To go with the theme of cosplaying as the certain character, I am also limiting the armor that I can wear. Though the first few videos has me in my starting gear, when I pick up the Hunter Set, I shall use that through most of the game. All armors that I can wear are more leather based and not plated armor. Also, the Jedi never uses shields thus I shall not use any shields (that includes having one on my back for the bonus effects).
-Finally, I must act like a Jedi. That means that the armor vendor in Majula actually shall live for once. I cannot attack anyone who is friendly until the time comes when I find out that they are evil (veterans of DS2 know which woman I am talking about). I shall also fight honorably so no cheesing bosses.
