Needed a way to "remove" bubbles from my casting projects like resin for composite materials or silicone for mold making.
A pressure chamber can squeeze bubbles that forms during mixing to a size that's hard to see.
The pressure chamber I ended up making out of this pressure pot is not meant for high pressure uses. Most pressure pot are made to hold up to 7.5-10psi so even with the relatively low pressure I am pushing in way over their limits. The one I bought still holds fine up to 30psi and that's enough for what I need but if you plan to make one be carful because things can go wrong in a split second (like with most of the things I do anyway).
To make this contraption a bit safer I installed a safety valve set at just over 30psi and all connection through the lid are secured from both sides with threaded fittings.
Thanks a lot for watching, I hope you liked the video!
