TUI Trip Report flying from Skiathos to London Gatwick onboard one of the TUI UK Boeing 737 equipped with Sky Interior on a cloudy and windy morning in Skiathos but lovely sunny in London. Taking off from one of the shortest runways in Europe (just 1.600m) is an amazing experience. Of course, all the thrust available is used for this takeoff, so you can imagine how amazing the engine roar was on this flight! After an epic takeoff from Skiathos, as known as "the European St. Marteen airport" because the runway is just 5 meters from the sea, we flew over North Macedonia, Kosovo, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Italy, Switzerland, France, and finally the UK, after crossing the English Channel. It was a very comfortable flight, as the load factor was not more than 35-40% on this flight back to London Gatwick. The inflight menu, although not all the meals were available, was quite ok. However, I miss some pre-ordered meal services (like Jet2). Have you ever flown with TUI? How was the experience? Did you book just the flights or the complete holiday package?
