Music echoed through the streets of Beirut, Lebanon, on Sept. 8th, as the "Beirut Chants" choir sang songs of tribute to the victims of a port explosion that occurred just over a month ago, when a large amount of ammonium nitrate stored at the port exploded, causing 190 deaths and thousands of injuries. The music could be heard throughout the port and city, with various melodies serenading those walking through Beirut while also paying tribute to those who died.
