Microsoft Excel can take data in one column and split it into multiple columns. One way is by using the "text-to-columns" button on the Data tab. Within the options that appear, you will need to tell Excel how the text is delimited -- or what character is used to separate the text into columns. Often, it will be a space or a comma as shown in the video.
