In this episode we are going to build a website, create a facebook social media page for our brand, then make an ad and get customers.
First we start off by making a website on square space. I have been working with square space for years and any other website builder will work but this is the one I choose to go with.
Building a website for your race car, roll cage, fabrication business is easy. The hard part is the content. You will need pictures and videos. These come from a personal project. The project needs to be relevant to your audience. Other than that, begin making it and document the progress with pictures and videos.
Once that is well under way. Begin making your website for your fabrication business. It doesn’t need to be much, only needs a landing page and a contact us page.
Now it’s time to build up your presence on social media. Start by creating a Facebook page for your fabrication business. Start uploading pictures of your race car and roll cages. We will use these for our ads.
Let’s make an ad and try to get customers. Pick any of your posts and select boost. If you want to build roll cages for a side hustle then be sure to choose your best presentation of your roll cage building skills.
I made a video and I suggest you do the same. Building trust with your customer is easier with a video. I posted that video and boosted it on Facebook. This leads the viewer to my website and then to the contact us page. Our potential customers fill out a form and then we get an email.
It’s up to you at this point. Contact the customer and see if you can make a deal. In our case we found Rube and his C10. He wants a simple cage fitted to his interior. We agreed on a price and timeline. And now it’s up to us or you to deliver. In the next episode we cover how to satisfy the customer and turn a profit.
