Creative Engineering with Mark Rober Project #1: Mechanical Engineering, by Michael Healey The final build was a bit more of a hassle than I expected in a lot of ways. I think I ended up with another prototype. I couldn't pull my lever automatically (when the ingredients slide went back, it should have pulled the lever to turn on the faucet). After several hours of messing with it, I decided to just push the lever manually. I also ended up with quite a few leaks, and there is unsightly hot glue everywhere 😝 However, I'm still really happy with what I achieved in this amount of time. The ingredients and mixer all worked nicely, and I had fun every step of the way (well, a little frustration at the end).
