Played on a 37 button C/G Dipper concertina.
Played in the key of C; first time without drone, second time with C drone added. On a slow tune such as this, it is possible, with good bellows control, to almost make the reeds "stall".
The vibrato effect is achieved by very gentle movement of the right hand, whilst ensuring that the end of the concertina remains "anchored" on the right leg. In a performance, I would probably use slightly less vibrato.
The "decoration" or "grace note" effect is achieved by a combination of bellows and air valve control. It is important to open the bellows as little as is practically possible to optimise the control.
