A few years ago, I embarked on the challenge of recreating the Vehmaa sword. Unearth in Finland, this stunning pattern-welded blade showcases the Viking smith's incredible abilities, delivering a visually striking weapon.

My interest in making this video is to engage you in the study of historical blades and to teach you a little bit about pattern-welding in the Viking age.
