First few days living in rural Ireland. After the excitement of last week when we bought a house, this week we are settling into life in remote, rural Ireland. This is our first few days at our old little cottage, and we can't be more excited to start restoring it. This week we start to clear the land and empty the house, ready for when we remove the plaster to expose the 200 year old stone walls. That's when we will really know exactly what is ahead of us, and spoiler alert, it's A LOT!
