I think early retirement is something we may all dream of, but for me, it's quite close to reality. As far as my goals are concerned, only 2.5 years away. So I think it's important now that I'm running a financial channel, I should explain. Unfortunately, society isn't really set up for most of us to retire early, or offer us a ton of comfort even if we are able to retire at a "normal" age like 65, or 70. And that's even if you believe many retirement funds will still exist by the time you're that old. And that's why I'm choosing to take my retirement into my own hands, and decide to do it on my own terms. But not just so I can sit around doing nothing.
