I didn't discuss this in the video explicitly, but there was almost no break in period. I went on a big hike pretty soon after first trying these boots on, and even on a six mile walk with lots of inclines and declines, I had no trouble with blisters. I've heard a different story with the Red Wing 875 and the Red Wing 1907, and if you've had a tough experience with either of those boots, let me know in the comments below.
