My name is MyLinda Butterworth and today we find a king who has a talkative daughter no one can silence until she meets the Ashlad in “The Princess No-One Could Silence.” There was once a king who had a daughter who never stopped talking. The king could not stand it anymore and promised to marry his daughter to the man who could make her shut up. Many men tried, but in the end, when no one could stop her talking, he began to brand the ears of those who failed. There was a man with three sons who thought they had nothing better to do, so they might as well try. On their walk there, Ashlad found many unusual things that he collected, thinking they would be helpful when he tried for the hand of the princess. His brothers only laughed at him. Both of the elder brothers failed and had their ears branded only the Ashlad remained. Could his unusual objects stop the princess from talking?
