Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio First Drive: It BLEW Me Away! Hello guys, and welcome back to Car Obsession. I've been lucky enough to drive plenty of exciting cars since launching the channel six years ago (yes, it really has been that long!) but despite being out for a few years, I've never driven the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio. This is the 2.9 litre V6 powered saloon that helped to rejuvenate the historic Italian marque, which seemed to be pretty happy with pumping out somewhat-generic cars such as the MiTo and the Giulietta. I'm sure those two cars are perfectly fine, but let's be honest, they are far from what you think of when you think of Alfa Romeo. The Giulia Quadrifoglio helped to change all of that when it hit the motoring world toward the end of the last decade. It's V6, which has Ferrari DNA, produces 510hp along with 600Nm of torque. Sending its power to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic, this lightweight (only 1,524kg) super saloon can hit 62mph in 3.9 seconds and continue to a top speed 191mph.
