Unlike Mort's other projects to date, Exiled From Light was filled to the brim with depressive riffs and melodies, to encapsulate an absolute sense of apathy, disgust, listlessness, and existential dread. " Descending Further into Nothingness" was the first album to be completed and released under the Exiled From Light monikor, an album that was genuinely claustrophobic, bleak, and hopeless with sharp icy riffs shrouded in melancholic and ominous keyboard tones.
