This is guide, howto install NVIDIA 465.xx (465.31), 460.xx (460.84) and 450.xx (450.119.03) proprietary Linux drivers and disable Nouveau driver on Fedora 33 and same method works with Fedora 32/31/30/29/28 too. Kernels 5.12+, 5.11+ and 5.10+ are tested. This guide works with GeForce 6/7/8/9/200/300/400/500/600/700/800/900/10/20/30 series cards.
This guide allow you easily install different versions of NVIDIA drivers, you can test beta drivers and switch back to stable.
Currently working NVIDIA drivers are:
- 470.xx (470.42.01) BETA
- 465.xx (465.31)
- 460.xx (460.84)
- 450.xx (450.119.03)
- 435.xx (435.21) Patched
- 418.xx (418.113) Patched
- 390.xx (390.143)
- 340.xx (340.138) Patched
I have tested this guide with NVIDIA 340.xx (patched), 390.xx, 418.xx (patched), 435.xx (patched), 440.xx, 450.xx, 455.xx, 460.xx 465.xx drivers/cards on latest Fedora. Here I use NVIDIA 455.28 version of NVIDIA drivers installer, check full install commands from:
