Welcome to Lit For Life, The Hindu's festival of literature where we joyfully celebrate ideas, words, art, music, and culture. After a three-year hiatus caused by the pandemic, we are delighted to be back on the ground as a vibrant platform where distinguished creative minds from India and from across the world meet to discuss new writing and offer insights on a variety of subjects and themes. The festival, over the last 10 years, has showcased a wealth of work by some of the finest creative minds - artists filmmakers, scientists, historians, environmentalists and many others - who have generously shared their ideas with the public, thus making The Hindu Lit for Life a much sought-after event. We are very happy to be back centre stage in Chennai this year and to engage with the several thousand people who come to our festival. There will be conversations, important ideas, and exchanges that will throw light on many topics that will be interesting informative and entertaining. As always, the audience will have the opportunity to directly interact with the speakers at the festival. All our sessions have been carefully curated to cater to a wide variety of interests.
