Summary:
1. Excessive Worrying
If there’s one sure sign of anxiety disorder, it’s excessive worrying. While most of us worry about things in general, the intensity of the worry is much higher when you have anxiety.
2. Feeling Agitated
When you become anxious, your nervous system can switch gears and go into overdrive. As a result, you’ll find yourself with sweaty palms, shaky hands, a racing pulse and dry mouth. This is essentially your body’s defense mechanism when it senses a threat.
3. Restlessness
If you’re feeling restless on a regular basis, it’s another common symptom of anxiety disorder. This is particularly common among children and teenagers. When you feel restless, there’s a strong urge to keep moving and shifting yourself. You’re constantly on edge.
4. Fatigue
If you experience fatigue on a regular basis, you could have anxiety. Even if you haven’t exhausted yourself physically. This may come as a surprise, as anxiety is usually associated with hyperactivity.
