This lecture covers countries that have actively tried pursuing nuclear weapons but ultimately chose to stop: Yugoslavia, South Korea, Libya, Brazil, Iraq, Iran, and Syria. We focus on their motivations to start and what caused them to stop---or, in Iran's case, what may have caused them to stop.
