14 seats from Karnataka went to polls in the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections. One of these seats is Mysuru which is witnessing a battle royale. BJP has fielded Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, the scion of the erstwhile Mysuru royal family, who is making his grand political debut. Wadiyar has replaced BJP's Pratap Simha, who has represented the constituency in Parliament since 2014.
