Whilst still being a relatively busy airport, it's ranked the 5th busiest airport in terms of passenger movements in the country. Located adjacent to the Chitose Japan Air-Self Defence Base, this airport is a beautiful place to go plane spotting, with its beautiful typical Japanese nature features surrounding the airport making footage look so stunning! The airport takes a large influx of flights from Tokyo Haneda, being the 2nd busiest passenger route in the world! The Japanese milk run you could say! Other airlines feature commonly from places like Taiwan, Hong Kong and Korea, making the aviation side of the airport awesome for viewing!
