Which side of the pier should you be fishing on?
That's a great question since there's usually one side that's outperforming the other by a long shot.
One way to tell is just by looking at what the other anglers are doing and take note of who's catching fish.
But what if there's nobody around? Or nobody's catching fish?
Then you'll need to know how to figure it out yourself, and that's exactly what you're going to learn in this video.
Pier fishing along the Atlantic Coast is best in the spring and fall when pelagics like Spanish mackerel are migrating, and which season it is (and which way they're migrating) will help you determine which side of the pier to fish on.
