Here's what happens when you mix an elementary school science teaching job with a geeky maker-teacher. My science classroom had no windows, so I did what any sci-fi enthusiast and maker would so - I immediately decided that I would turn the room into my own starship classroom. It took about 2 months, along with 3D printers, laser cutters, and lots of electronics to bring the room to life.
