"I think the most important thing is to get behind the title and, you know, the uniform and try to dig into who is this person who is now our king? What made him to who he is today? So, we try to describe the person, the human being behind the title."

"He was in the Frogman Corps. And during an exercise, he had his wetsuit on and water came inside and it was swollen up and he looked like a penguin, hence the name Pingo."

"That was quite a surprise. I don't think anyone knows about that dress. So, they met at the Olympics in Sydney. The crown prince, then crown prince, went back to Denmark. But when he went back to Sydney, to Australia the second time to visit Mary Donaldson, he had a gift with him, a beautiful summer dress, that actually fitted perfectly, as I had heard."

"He stepped on the balcony at the Parliament, he took out a speech from his pocket, and said out loud the speech, a very important speech. And, of course, we have that speech in the exhibition. It's like a little bit folded yet and a small comment and that, but a very important and also historical important object that we have in the exhibition as well."

"Like for everyone like and for us as well, it was a very big surprise. But we did work on this exhibition for a long time. I mean, we knew it would happen one day, but we were very surprised that it happened when it did. So, we were quite busy. I gathered my staff on the 1st of January and said, now we have to finish this exhibition, to open in March."
