On Day 6 of our 7th cross-country road trip with two little kids and one old dog, we start in Vail, Colorado, and drive to Moab, Utah. Traveling with a really old dog is tricky, but we make it work thanks to dog-friendly hotels and camping spots. It is a gorgeous drive (despite the huge lightning storm).
