Continuing the series of making a chairmakers tool cabinet - in this video I am making the doors with oak frames and spalted beech panels,
These doors took a long time to make as I cut most of the joints by hand, but it was very relaxing and also satisfying to end up with two good fitting doors. In the video I show how I marked out the joints, using a wheel gauge; as well as getting the joints to fit together well, and gluing up each panel etc. and then finally showing the completed doors hung on brass piano hinge.
