In this new build-along series we will be Printing the parts of the SMARS Quad robot. In the rest of the series of videos we will be learning about the SMARS Quad robot; how to print it, how to assemble and wire it up, loading code and taking this to the next level with computer vision and object detection. We will be using a Raspberry Pi Zero and Python to bring it to life with code, as Python has many easy to use libraries for advanced features such as computer vision (openCV), voice synthesis (pyttsx3) as well as voice recognition - all on chip so it can be used offline. SMARS robots are low cost, open-source, 3d Printable robots that are easy to build, and require only the most basic electronic and programming ability to get started.
