Ex-police officer Derek Chauvin has been convicted for the murder of George Floyd. The 12-person jury found Chauvin guilty on all three charges of second-degree murder, third-degree murder and manslaughter. For many, this is the start of greater accountability for cases of police brutality in America.
Darnella Frazier, who was 17 at the time of Mr Floyd's death, filmed the video that went viral around the world, and helped show what happened. The following day, 15 year old Kellen started a petition for ‘Justice for George Floyd’ which went global and now has almost 20 million signatures.
