Tinamou eggs are glossy and vibrantly colored. I found ones that are green, pink, blue, purple, grey, and white. All from one group of birds!
Tinamou are ground-nesters, so they lay these eggs on the ground.
And Tinamou are rarely seen and move stealthily through their environment (they actually do make noise, but are very good at hiding).
