Oral history allows us to experience human connection and expand our understanding of communities around us. Dr. Elena Foulis discusses the production of oral history based performances as an activity that enhances our sense of belonging, bicultural and bilingual experiences, and racial or ethnic identity.
Elena Foulis is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese. She is an oral historian who is committed to amplifying the voices of the Latine Community in Ohio.
