I"m back at it sawing frozen logs out in the Canadian wilderness I call home. Nothing like the crisp cold air and sawdust swirling around to make you feel alive. Throw in a little sludge and freshly sawn lumber and you've got the makings for a great day. Today I"m taking the balsam fir trees that you may have seen me skid out of a dense part of my forest recently with my tractor and skidding winch and sawing them up into some nice lumber. I'm using my trusty Woodland Mills HM130max today paired up with a sharp new saw blade. That is of course if the red squirrels don't sabotage things first. I tell ya, these pesky critters like to make home where ever they can and apparently my samwill is one of those places. Could be worse I suppose, could be bug season. Yikes! Glad you're all along for the ride today, should a be a good day of fresh cuts and sawdust.
