In 2000, I started building out my 'train room' in the basement of my house. It has been and on-and-off hobby for the last 20+ years. My two sons and I spent plenty of time enjoying the trains when they were little. When my son turned 10 (in 2011), we started a 4-year project to build a suspended rail system throughout the rest of the basement. Included in the layout is an 8-ft long, scratch-built model bridge of the Sciotoville rail bridge over the Ohio River. This was once the world's largest truss bridge. Enjoy!!
