Check out the new video by my friend Mark over at the channel Guillotined Chemistry on how he transformed his classroom by switching lecture for experimentation, building lasting positive memories in his students about chemistry and education: https://youtu.be/wSXRg39DuyI?si=Z8UXX...

New video coming tomorrow around noon EST! In the meantime, for those of you interested in seeing shorts I've moved all of my short form videos over to a second channel: https://youtube.com/@NightHawkInLightShorts?si=7A3GyeIK4VmlvMcA

Hope to see you all in the comments tomorrow! I'm trying some new things with this video that I'd really appreciate some feedback on. It seems to be going over well with those who got an early preview through Patreon but I won't know for sure if I should move forward with the changes until I get more feedback.

Thanks everyone!

Do you keep up to date with all the videos that show up in your subscriptions tab?

Yes, I check my subscriptions tab often enough to see all posts.

I scroll through occasionally but not often enough to keep up.

I never check my subscriptions.

I've subscribed to 10,000 channels and am afraid to look.

I've been asked to put my radiative sky cooling series into a playlist. Take a look!

I've been asked many times to sell kits for my various projects. It's a difficult task to design/assemble/sell physical products like kits, though I would like to do so eventually. For now I'm trying to do the next best thing: assembling lists of supplies all in one place where they can be ordered. You can check out what I've put together so far on my Amazon affiliate page: https://www.amazon.com/shop/nighthawkinlight

I get a small commission on sales, but otherwise I have not been paid to specifically recommend any of the products listed. I've only added a few categories of items so far. Let me know if there are specific projects you would like me to add items for.

I've started posting more shorts videos to my channel the last few days for three reasons:

1. I've found it reaches a different demographic of people from my normal videos.
2. I like having something small to share and talk about during the long spans of time it takes to finish my larger projects.
3. Shorts don't take up as much real estate as they used to in the subscription feed, so that has made sharing them less of an annoyance to long term subscribers (let me know if I'm wrong on that point).

It's a bit of an experiment to see how posting shorts will go in the long term. Meanwhile, I've also become active on other social media posting the same shorts as I am here. Searching NightHawkInLight on other platforms should bring me up if you prefer short videos in a different feed.

Thanks everyone!

I had a lot of trouble coming up with a good thumbnail for my latest video about intercalated graphite. Here are a few of the options I played around with before landing on the last one. Video can be seen here: https://youtu.be/8Z5RPPRS-KQ

My friend Mark put together a great video testing a variety of paper types for senko hanabi. If you're interested in making these sparklers for yourself I highly recommend it.
